In 2020, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the art exhibition, the world was subject to the constraints of the corona pandemic. This was a situation for the artists, the visitors as well as for the organizers that we have never dealt with before. The corona restrictions were relaxed a little bit again and again, but by the end of 2021 it was still not certain that an art exhibition could be designed as comfortably as everyone expected. For the benefit of the health of visitors and artists, the art exhibition did not take place in the usual form in the Stadthalle in 2021 either. In order not to disappoint the artists and visitors, there was also a "virtual art exhibition" based on the internet in 2021.
